| Asymptomatic, mild headache, slight nuchal rigidity |

| Moderate to severe headache, nuchal rigidity , no neurologic
deficit other than cranial nerve palsy |

| Drowsiness / confusion, mild focal neurologic deficit |

| Stupor, moderate-severe hemiparesis |
|
| Coma, decerebrate posturing |
