Summary of Purpose

The vast majority of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) patients present with elevated blood pressure(BP). Management of BP is controversial with two competing rationales. There is some evidence that hyperacute treatment may improve outcomes by reducing the rate of hematoma expansion.
