To compare orthodox physiotherapy to an enhanced therapy regime in the recovery of arm function after acute stroke.

Single-blind, randomized, controlled trial of 132 patients.

Patient Involvement

Patients were randomized to receive orthodox physiotherapy or enhanced therapy which increased the amount of treatment and used behavioral methods to encourage learning.
