Early heparin therapy in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage

Phase N/A Results

Group 3 patients showed a statistically significant reduction in the number of pulmonary emboli compared to the other two groups. There was no overall increase in the incidence of rebleeding in any of the three groups. The incidence of deep-vein thrombosis was higher in the first few days of treatment than at 10 day but this difference was not significant. The overall incidence of deep-vein thrombosis was high among all three treatment groups.
