Action
A chemically synthesised neuroprotectant under clinical development by PAION for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke that is and intravenously administered sodium and calcium channel blocker shown to be effective in reducing mortality and infarct size and improving functional outcome when administered up to 24 hours after onset of ischemia.
