Action
(theoretical) Nortriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant, blocks the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin in the central nervous system. Like all secondary-amine tricyclics, nortriptyline blocks norepinephrine more strongly than it does serotonin.
