Introduction
to Evidence-Based Medicine William J. Powers, M.D.-- Professor of
Neurology, Neurosurgery and Radiology
Washington University School of Medicine -- Presented July
12, 2005
Introduction
This lectures will cover some basic principles of evidence
based medicine. We will discuss different types of evidence,
their validity and sources of bias. Pros and cons of different
methods to measure therapeutic effects will be addressed.
Some of the problems in trying to apply the evidence-based
approach in the real world will be covered.
