Mama says Grandpa's brain had a stroke. She says we have tubes called arteries that carry our blood. Sometimes they get clogged, like when ice cream gets stuck in your straw when you’re drinking a root beer float. Then the blood can’t get to some parts of the brain, and those parts don't work as well. These clogs happen more often in older people. Mama says not to worry; we can't "catch" strokes like colds!
