Today Mama and I take Grandpa to the Zoo. It’s been a year since his stroke. He still takes his stroke medicine to help him stay well. He can walk better now, but slowly, so we bring his wheelchair and special cane. And Grandpa brings something else - his butterscotch candies!

I wheel him to the elephants’ cage. I'm in a hurry. Lulu, the baby elephant, just turned three, and I can't wait to tell Grandpa a story about her!
