| CT Learning Tool Case 3 (1) A 43-year-old woman presented to the Emergency Department with acute onset of left hemiparesis involving both the arm and the leg, which started approximately 2 hours before presentation. The patient had a history of aortic and mitral valve replacement and had been using Coumadin, which she stopped on her own. At the time of her ED visit, the INR was found to be normal. A CT scan was obtained. |
