| Thrombolysis Case Studies Case Study 9 (1) A 39-year-old man, who noted the sudden onset of left-sided weakness at 12:31 pm, arrived in the Emergency Department at 1:00 pm. The time of onset was noted by co-workers who immediately called 911. The patient told the paramedics that he had experienced transient vertigo the night before, but otherwise had no history of neurologic symptoms. CT brain scan is completed by 1:40 pm. It is now 2:04 pm. |
